This box was originally alerted as a CO alarm, but was upgraded to an Apartment Fire by Dispatch after additional 911 callers reported alarm bells in the building and an odor of smoke. Chief 3-2 (Snyder) arrived reporting fire from the roof spreading in both directions and called for the 2nd alarm. Quint 3 was the first arriving unit from Bel Air, followed by Rescue 3 and 315. Damage was estimated at $1.5 milllion.
